Research platform

Дослідницька Платформа, PinchukArtCentre

Research Platform is an open space for reflection, research, and dialogue, bringing together research, exhibition, and educational initiatives dedicated to the study of Ukrainian art. At its core is a research project aimed at creating a living archive of Ukrainian art, with a focus on artistic practices in Ukraine from the early 1980s to the present day.

Archive

Since its inception in 2016, the Research Platform has built a comprehensive archive of contemporary art, including profiles of artists, documents and artifacts from private archives, and rare publications. The archive is intended to serve as a vital tool for studying artistic practices, accessible to both researchers and the general public.

In Focus

The Research Platform exhibition “Without Asking Permission” brings together works by Ukrainian artists created between two revolutions — from 2004 to 2014 — in which the body emerges as a tool for self-determination and resistance.
