In the discussion of expanded geosystems, it is not difficult to notice that current socio-philosophical thought has evolved from global comparisons of society and nature within the geographical understanding of art to the specialized study of the influence of various factors of the placebo-geographical (see below) environment (creative climate, soil and pseudo-soil, equivalents of water resources, useful and useless minerals, flora and fauna cultivated as auto-environments, cosmic processes and holes) on, to some extent, specific populations reflecting on the object of art, types of activities and guiding activity within it, forces (potency), rates of cultural development, defining concepts, structures, individual formations of the creative continuum, the “political” system (or a kind of “cultural paradigm,” applicable, for example, not long ago to the process of development and state of culture in this country (USSR), types of organization of cultural activity, creativity and intelligible behavior of the contingent, etc.).
In the current situation, it seems interesting to touch upon the problematics of generation in the structure of transforming radiolarian guides of art. The postmodern history flowing in all directions of the metaspaces unconsciously awaits the arrival (A. Roitburd – consciously awaits) of the next, in relation to all the same mentioned, sign, the meaning of whose manifestation is yet to be considered. Will it be that last drop, the critical mass that will collapse the crest of the post-modern wave to the level of the sea-life-art, accordingly changing it and creating the post-surface of culture (the surface of its transcendental advancement) through a period of global auto-suicides and revision of vitality, or will it remain a drop in its brutal mass? But, in both the first and second cases, we were interested exclusively in the fact of the manifestation of this new, in (temporary – ?) relation even to the group of post-structuralists and postmodernists, generations, that is, only the creation of this “generation.” The question of the degree of its real potentials automatically falls away, likening the emergence of this generation to the action of the Void Pill, as if we began to use the placebo effect applied to the defining cultural body. It will be no more than a placebo-geographical generation, moreover, the geoprocesses of total movings and surrounds (periodic environments) and entourages take the form of an effect, an impact on cultural consciousness and its creator. In other words, an unquestionably sanctioned and logically inserted into its own, pre-destined cell, creation of a certain League (however, adhering initially to the accepted characteristic of the environment as non-specific, we will omit the sign “League” already turned into architext by this corpus, replacing it with the adequate “group”). So, a group of young people who took upon themselves the burden of volunteering placebo-geography and accepted the role of auto-adepts of the placebo effect in the cultural process of constant development. Three accompanying schemes united by a quasi-structure can be called defining in the placebo flow.
These are, firstly, the moment of polyconcentrated heroics within the group itself (introspection of the generation), secondly, the modal categories of the environment, its factors and creations (questions) of the uselessness of minerals and the degree of vital indebtedness of flora and fauna), and thirdly, the signification of the geographical as effective and, accordingly, geography as effect. The three levels of research highlighted by us above correspond to the three main aspects of the placebo-geographical problematics. The most important problem of PG is the determination of the degree of interconnection between these levels of research and to what extent they are really reducible to each other.
