A fairy tale and myth exist in human consciousness as cultural-historical memory; they are a kind of moral and aesthetic themes. Metaphor as an aesthetic principle implies an organic interconnection of all components of the figurative construction of a work. Light is the internal source of lighting solutions, and the compositional space reveals the content of the form. Building the form, the space absorbs light and color and synthesizes them with meaning. For example, in my painting “Sanctuary,” the composition is built on the opposition of two semantic levels. The first is the entrance to the Sanctuary; the embodiment of spirituality and moral purity is the spatial infinity of sky-blue color. The exit from the Sanctuary is an immersion into the hustle and bustle, symbolized by a mixture of “earthy” shades.Тип коментаря: Published comment
