Born in Kyiv to the family of journalist Olga Leonidivna Harytska and architect Vadym Kostyantynovych Skuharyov

Studied painting under the artist David Borisovich Miretsky (born 1939, Kyiv, Ukrainian painter, later a representative of the Ukrainian diaspora in the USA)

Studied at the Republican Art Secondary School named after T.G. Shevchenko (now — Taras Shevchenko State Art Secondary School)

Studied at the Dagestan Art College named after M.A. Dzhemal

1982 - 1988

Studied at the Lviv State Institute of Decorative and Applied Arts (now — Lviv National Academy of Arts) in the Department of Artistic Textiles

1988 - present

Marriage to Oleg Tistol

1988 - 1991

Together with Oleg Tistol, Kostiantyn Reiunov and Yana Bystrova, she lived and worked in Moscow in a squat on Furmanov Lane

May 1992 - early 1993

Within the cultural exchange program, received a scholarship from the Christoph Merian Stiftung Foundation in Basel, Switzerland
