Born in the city of Kyiv.

Graduated from the State Art Republican School (now — State Art Secondary School named after T.G. Shevchenko)

Enrolled in the Kyiv Art Institute.

1987 - 1989

Served in the ranks of the Soviet army

1991 - 1993

Created films "Smell" (1991, 15 min); "Yes" (1992, 10 min); "Juggernaut" (1993, 30 min).

1993

The screening of Kyrylo Protsenko's film "Smell" ("Smell") took place at the radio-television competition "Prize of the Future" ("Prix Futura"), Berlin, Federal Republic of Germany.

1994

Graduated from the Ukrainian Academy of Arts. Workshop of free graphics of Professor Andriy Chebykin.

1994

Screenings of Kyrylo Protsenko's films "Smell" and "Yes" took place on the Ukrainian TV channel UT-1.

1995

Spent almost the entire year living in New York, where he presented the exhibition «Falling Star. Sociological Study».

1995

The screening of Kyrylo Protsenko's film "Smell" ("Smell") took place at the Aipe Adria Cinema Festival, Trieste, Italy.

2003

Together with Illia Chichkan, presented the video work "Extra-Schengen" at the Venice Biennale.

2004

Participated in the European biennale of contemporary art MANIFESTA V in San Sebastián (Spain). Together with Illia Chichkan, they presented the video work "Beautiful Spy Eyes".
